Love - a tribute to Umeå and its inhabitants

In the middle of town, on one of the most central locations in Umeå – the Vasagatan façade, the ligth installation ”Love - a tribute to Umeå and its inhabitants” was chosen to be placed., in the context of the fifth edition of the Festival Umeå Autumn light. Through a projection of the various messages of love, an everyday colorless and dull façade was transformed into a lively and dynamic bulletin board in the name of love. The idea of the installation, designed by Wanylight AB, was to remind to remind each other about love's limitless power, which in itself knows no limits, and it transcends all social conventions and constructions. Love is both multicultural and global, which will be reflected in the installation.
