Generally, what is Gent University like?

It is a nice and one of the reputable international state universities in Belgium.

What are the facilities like?

Dorms, sports clubs, dance clubs, libraries (I have never seen basement floor libraries before).

What are the tutors like?

Generally they are so polite and helpful.

Are the lessons easy in Gent University?

It changes from course to course. Yes some of them are easy to pass with minimum effort but some of them not.

Does the University organize activities; what are they like?

Student kick offs, concerts of university symphony orchestra.

Do you think the teaching is of a high quality?

Not every academic staff were perfect but mostly they were good.

Are there any stories you can share?

Although there are lots of international students unfortunately some signs on doors, or announcements are in Flemish. Sometimes it creates problems.

Faculty of Political Sciences was in the center of Gent and it was located across a street. However, the inside of the faculty like a labyrinth, times without numbers I got lost within faculty.

I became a master on photocopy. I had to make my all the photocopy during the term on my own.
