Generally, what is Federal University of Santa Catarina like?

Is a very large campus, with many diverse graduations courses, masters and PhD programes. There are not tuition fees, only for the mensa. It has a central library and also departmental ones.
The atmosphere is almost the time friendly.

What are the facilities like?

some facilities are very good, like the ones with more investment. Others are at a middle level. We do have computer rooms. Sports facilities. quiet reading rooms. Place to eat, restaurants, university hospital, etc.

What are the tutors like?

the tutors, most are very warm, you may easily contact them, directly, just knocking at the door. They like to have constant contact, to see how we work.

Are the lessons easy in Federal University of Santa Catarina?

The lessons are not so that easy, many books to read, home works, papers to write, programs to participate in.

Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?

yes, many activities, like, debates, films, presentations, festivals, small talks, etc.

Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?

yes, most of the time the professors shows a very high qualification.
