Generally, what is University of Coimbra like?

The University was quite big. I was in Engineering faculty, so it is in Polo II.

It's a bit far from the city centre and the famous building of University in Polo I.

What are the facilities like?

The University facilities are adequate. They have a laboratory, license for software, and also cooperative lectures.

What are the tutors like?

The lectures were quite understandable and can deliver it to the students. And the teachers are really helpful and willing to give some of their time for assistance as required (with a previous appointment of course).

Are the lessons easy in University of Coimbra?

I think for all Europe will be the same as they were using ECTS system.

Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?

The University organises some activities such as study trips to industrial plants, some courses (software mostly), conferences and seminars.

Student associations also organise some events which most of the students are waiting for it.

Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?

Yes it is.

Are there any stories you can share?

Nope... Experience it yourself. It would be really interesting living in Coimbra. The student city. Just don't get lose of yourself...!
