Dresden between Altstadt and Neustadt

I've been in Dresden for 6 months during the fall semester. It was pretty cool, even if the weather in January and in February was cold... like -12°C.
Anyway there aren't problems beacuse all the students go to pubs or discos in Neustadt, the north side of Dresden. But in Altstadt there are all the universities/faculties, it's quiet as well.
So, it's a good city for Erasmus, maybe even better in spring semester. From Dresden you can visit easily Berlin, Prague and Leipzig, too.
Trams and buses are all night long, that's good for us, students without cars. :)

anche io sono intenzionata a trascorrere un semestre a Dresda. Vorrei chiederti gentilmente qualche informazione. Hai fatto fatica a trovare alloggio? Più o meno quanto costa affittare una stanza? In generale la vita notturna ti è piaciuta? Fammi sapere, grazie!
