Trikala is a small town. Is really easy going , and it's most likely to remind a European town. The citizens use the bikes a lot , they show respect to each other during traffic . A river crossed the city and it makes it really beautiful. You can go there , have a walk by the river and outside the city there are taverns that serve good food nearby. There is a big clock in the upper region that has a historical meaning. Hidden treasures are all over , that you can discover on foot.

What is the student lifestyle like in Trikala?

Students have an easygoing life. The streets are easy to be learnt and so are the public places.

How much does it cost to live in Trikala?

Trikala is inexpensive. Rental costs are between 150-300 depends on the house's size and rooms. Gas- electricity-internet are approximately 120/2 months. Market expenses are approximately 150/per month. All the other expenses depend on the person, but you can count on 200 for anything else.

What places would you recommend visiting in Trikala?

For a grear Trikala tour you MUST visit Meteora and the monasteries there. Also , Palaiokarya's bridge is a great stone bridge in nature where waterfalls go by . A visit to the city's fort is a great historical visit , which can be filled with a tour in the old city. If you visit Trikala during Christmas season , there is a Grean Funafair called Mylos ton Xotikon (aka elves town). It's great for Children and for those who stay children in heart.

Food is Trikala is as Good as in whole Greece. There are great places to eat among a great variety of food choices. Meat lovers will love the excellent quality of it. Cheese is a must , so are the fresh salads in the greek taverns.

Is the nightlife good in Trikala? Where is good to go?

Nightlife is mostly surrounded in few but good pubs and bars. There are a few clubs that emphasize in greek modern music. The other pubs and bars are ore into international places. A great place for beer is Papyros
