What is it like to live in Tolón? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

There is no entertainment as most of the students don't live directly in Toulon. Most of them live in La Garde which is around 30 minutes by bus. But as the transport system is pretty terrible, there is nearly no way of going back after 11:30 pm.

What is the student lifestyle like in Tolón?

There is no student lifestyle as all students live in La Garde.

How much does it cost to live in Tolón?

Around 300 - 500 €.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Tolón? Is there any advice you can give?

It's not that difficult.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food is delicious and a lot of superb bakeries around. In the night there are amazing restaurants in Mourillon. I have a lot of favorite dishes.

What places would you recommend visiting in Tolón?

Mourillon, Mont Faron, City Center, Port, Train station.

Is it good to eat out in Tolón? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

In Mourillon there are great restaurants to eat out.

Is the nightlife good in Tolón? Where is good to go?

Not really, there are a few pubs and one pre-club in Mourillon "La Plage". All other clubs are pretty far and u need a car to go there.

What advice would you give future students heading to Tolón?

Take your car with you.
