For those who know Kensington Market, you would know that it has quite a few hidden treasures. One such treasure is a burger joint called Burgernator. Small and quaint, this burger joint makes their own burger and fries, and they are simply exquisite. They have classic burgers, as well as more 'exotic' ones. The price is a little higher than most burger joints, but it is definitely worth it.

My personal recommendation would be to get the "Drop Down and Give Me Spicy", or if you can't handle spicy food, then the "Fully Loaded" is a good alternative. And if you're feeling extra hungry, take the challenge and try "The Burgernator", a 3-patty burger sandwiched between 2 grilled cheese sandwiches, topped with onions, mushrooms and your choice of sauce.
After satisfying your craving for meat, you can easily walk down Augusta Avenue for about 2 mins before hitting a mexican restaurant that sells churros. Easily one of the best churro places in Toronto. There is also a crepe restaurant if you're looking for something on the healthy side.
