the life here is cheaper

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

it's for 5 months and I received 708 E which is a big help to live here

What is the student lifestyle like in Tetovo?

the campus is really great you can find a lot of things within it

Would you recommend the city and the University of Tetovo to other students?

the University itself is great but I wish I could have found this university in another city because it's rather lifeless and extremely dirty

What is the food like?

you can find a lot of restaurant for cheap price

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Tetovo?

no, I asked the person in charge of the erasmus program and he helped me find a dorm

How much does it cost to live in Tetovo?

75E per month for a dorm
and the food is around 70 E per month
and transportation, it can change but it's really cheap to take the taxi

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I'm in a university where you can find albanian, macedonian and turkish people.
I didn't find classes at the university but they are some ways to get into languages courses (French Alliance, organisations)

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Tetovo from your city?

They are some mini bus that cost only 10 denar (15c) and the taxi is only 100denar (1.5E) for travelling within the city

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Tetovo?

there are some good pubs in the city center where you could find theme nights
Usually the wednesdays are the student night (look on social media to keep inform)

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

they are some great cities around Tetovo
must places to visit are Gostivar, Skopje, Ohrid, Struga

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Tetovo in the future?

Don't feel down by the change of environment just enjoy to the fullest the experience eventhough it might look bad at the beginning
