What is it like to live in T'elavi? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

telavi is city of love, colorful buildings with warm and familiar people. everyone knows and respect each other. i would undoubtedly recommend it to any type of person. esecially those who love peace and relationships.i personally love this place, i live here for sixteen years and i consider whole town as family members. Telavi is green,joyful,friendly,beautiful place where everyone can find harmony.

What is the student lifestyle like in T'elavi?

since everyone is familiar, studing here is also joyful. we have about 9 schools and one university.after clasess we are going some clubs like "eco club" or "american corner" where youngsters change their ideas, opinions with each other, work on particuar projects and trying to make Telavi better.

How much does it cost to live in T'elavi?

if you rent a house it's about 100$ mountly, for food you can eat normally for about 5$. Georgia is kind of cheap but not too cheap, there's like normal prices

Is it difficult to find accommodation in T'elavi? Is there any advice you can give?

yes ofcourse, there in teavi, are many hotels and family hostels too. i really appreciate "Holiday inn" in Telavi, it has beautiful views and excelent conditioned rooms, as well as food is great!

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

As you hopefully know,Georgia has a great food.In telav our traditional food, my favourites are:"mtsvadi","khinkali" and "lobiani". i recomend it to all of yoou to taste before you die!! every single person needs to eat them and feel them.

What places would you recommend visiting in T'elavi?

In Telavi, there's the palace of Erekle II, who was the most powerful king of georgia, he is my favourite, i'm glad that i can walk here, in the places where he lived. so i highly recommend you to visit his palace first. we also have too many ancient churches and beautiful nature.

Is it good to eat out in T'elavi? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

yes, there are too many good places where you can eat any type of food. from american, italian - to georgian. my favourite caffe is spot called: "bravo" it's cheap with beautiful views and ofcours delicious food.

Is the nightlife good in T'elavi? Where is good to go?

For sad we don't have nightlife here and that's the idea of this town. we need real relationships , talking, playing and peaceful music. all this things create harmony for us

What advice would you give future students heading to T'elavi?

just come here and you'll find out it by yourself. you'll feel every move of leaf, flowers and telavi is also world of dogs and cats.. so if you love peace, music, people and animals we are waiting for you!
