We loved visiting Scotland and Ireland; Scotland in 2017/2018 and Ireland in 1999.
In Scotland we stayed in the cities of Dundee, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Arbroath, Stirling, Inverness, Perth and St. Andrews. We did alot of hiking in the Highlands especially around Ben Nevis.
Our trip to Ireland involved a 10 day bus tour around perimeter of the isle; visiting such towns as Dublin, Derry, Sligo, Galway, Donegal and Cork, We saw many famous historical sites such as Glendalough, the Hill of Tara, the cliffs of Moher, Dublin Castle, Trinity College, St. Patrick's Cathedral, the Boyne River and Blarney Castle and the Stone of Eloquence; plus many others too numerous to mention.
We look forward to going back to both Scotland and Ireland in the future.
They are wonderful places to be sure.
