Why did you choose to go to Szczecin, Poland?

I choose Szczecin, because Poland is a very interesting destination for me, I haven`t been here before and I wanted to experience Polish culture for real, also I heard from other students from Bulgaria that everything is very nice, including education, teachers, city and other things.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

1 term- 450 euro per month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Szczecin?

I enjoy my stay here a lot.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Szczecin to other students?

I will at 100%, I already recommended it to many people from my course in Bulgaria and two of my colleagues will come as well.

What is the food like?

The food is very tasty and cheap.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Szczecin?

I live in dormitory.

How much does it cost to live in Szczecin?

125 euro - living alone in a room and shared bathroom.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, It's very similar to Bulgarian, with difficult pronunciation. There is a course available and I recommend it as well, the teacher is very nice as well.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Szczecin from your city?

In my opinion Flight from Sofia to Berlin and then a bus.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Szczecin?

I don`t know. I don't go discos.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Szczecin?

I cook at the dorm, so I can't say.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Cemetery, museum of transport, the oldest cinema and the whole town is very nice to walk, especially parks and by the river as well.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Szczecin in the future?

Don't hesitate to go anywhere, It's going to be a nice experience for sure. I recommend Szczecin at 100%.

    In my opinion, studying in Szczecin is a great idea. but it is also a great city for holiday. We can stay there for example in 100 years old Dana Hotel, which is very comfortable and has a good service.
    Besides, there are many places, worth to see like Wały Chrobrego Promenade or Pomeranian Dukes' Castle:)

    Yes I agree with Regina :) I stayed in Hotel Dana when I visited my friends in Szczecin and I am so happy I could to stayed there. Very comfortable and tidy rooms and do tasty cusine. Hotel is in the city center. Szczecin is great place to visit for sure!
