Are your holidays longer than a weekend? If you've decided to stay for a long time you can also enjoy the city a lot. I have lived here for 10 months and i enjoy it more each time i visit it.

The first two days you can follow the route I have proposed in the post before. If you follow my recommendations you can visit the Old City and the basic here. The third day, you can start in Slussen and visit the Globen Arena in Stockholm to see its huge dimensions, and even go up to the top by elevator.

Another option would be visit the Drottningholm Palace, outside the city. To get there is easy, you can do it with the SL transport card without any problem and totally free.

But also you can take other different option and chooose Seigtuna, a very close and old viking town. Also with SL, totally free.

If you decide to stay longer in Stockholm you can visit some museums depending of you or maybe Vaxholm Islands or Uppsala, a very near city in the north.
