Skeppholmen Island is located in the center of Stockholm. It is surrounded by gamla Stan, Djurgarden and Östermalm. Is known by the nickname;Museum Island; and here are the major museums in Stockholm, an award he shares with the aforementioned Djurgarden. You can easily walk from the subway station Kungsträdgården and also throughout the boat.
It is an island very active and the proof is that there is celebrated on the Stockholm jazz festival during the summer. The island is connected to the other through bridges. Noted for its views, museums and especially for its location, which makes it a must for all visitors
