If you would visit a Viking village, do not think about it too much because Sigtuna is just 1 hour from Stockholm and it is one of the oldest village in the whole country of Sweden. To acces there you have to take the Pendeltaj, so, the train until the station of Märsta. This is the last station in the line, so it is not so difficult.

There, you have to get off the train and take the bus in the bus stops. There are many but it is clear, you can read Sigtuna. You have to get off again in Sigtuna center and first of all, go to the tourist office, in the village center, you can ask some tourist because it is always full. Sigtuna is not a very big city and has many places to visit. It was a Viking city created around 980, X century.
