Åhléns

If you have money, this article is for you! Åhléns is a Swedish chain stores. He found it in virtually every city in the country, with several stores in major cities - there are 18 such shops in Stockholm Åhléns. Åhléns also operates in Norway.

Åhléns is one of the biggest retailers in Sweden in many areas. Their operations are concentrated in four industries: fashion, beauty, furniture and the media.

Åhléns began in 1899 as a mail service, known as Åhlén & Holm, operating from Insjon in Dalarna. Cases walked, and in 1915 the headquarters were moved to Stockholm.

In the 1930s, the original idea of selling service has evolved into a chain of stores, and the company opened its first store in 1932 in Östermalmstorg, Stockholm. In 1964 the main building, Åhléns City, the largest store of Sweden, opened in central Stockholm.

In 2007, Åhléns belongs to Axel Johnson AB, itself wholly owned by Antonia Ax: Johnson, one of the richest women in Sweden.
