Looking for accommodation in Stavanger

I (Vietnamese and my friend (Italian) will be in Stavanger from next January to May. We are looking for an accommodation near the city center and convenient with bus to the university.
We are doing our master in migration. We are both friendly and love talking to people. We like parties (once in a while) and respect personal spaces.
