Marketing/Sales Assistant (Student Internship)

About Us

Apodos Travel Agency specializes in organizing guided bus tours for tourists who want to explore Split and its surroundings. We take pride in offering unique and memorable experiences to our clients, with a strong emphasis on service quality and customer satisfaction. We also offer day trips to national parks such as Krka and Plitvice.

Marketing

• Digital content creation

• Photgraphy, video making

• Managing social medias

• Market analysis

• Performance tracking

• Promotions of our offers and those of our partners

Sales

• Promote and sell our various tour offerings to tourists.

• Welcome customers and address their inquiries regarding itineraries, schedules, prices, etc.

• Provide general information about tourist attractions in Split and its surroundings.

• Process bookings, payments, and travel confirmations.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and satisfying customer experience.

Requirements

• Minimum B2/C1 level of English proficiency. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.

• Be an Erasmus-eligible student

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Passion for the tourism industry and a desire to work with tourists.

• Preferably, previous experience in direct sales to customers.

• Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team member.

• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

Additional Information
Internship duration: We’re looking from August to early November, we are flexible on the duration but we cannot go outside the given period.
Location: Split, Croatia.
Paid internship : commission-based for sales and for marketing performance-based. No fixed base salary.
Opportunity to learn and develop essential skills in the tourism and sales and/or marketing field.
Outdoor work for sales.
