21 year old French girl looking for furnished accomodation near University of Southampton

Hi ! My name is Suzanne and I'll be giving a French lectureship in the University of Southampton in 2018-2019. I'm willing to find an accomodation that will allow me to go there easily as well as to easily discover the city.

I've been living with three roommates for a year, and was previously in dorms (boarding schools) for 6 years, so I'm pretty used to living in community ! I can adapt easily and am very sociable (plus, I would love to chat in English in order to improve my fluency !), and though I like to have my own private space from time to time, I am more than ready to get to know and befriend my potential future roommates ! :) A one-person studio or a flat would be alright by me as well.

I love music, movies, series and am part of several fandoms, so it could be a good start for conversation haha ! I also speak German, and am interested in Italian and Japanese. I like to cook and to draw. I will probably try and visit cities like Glasgow, Cardiff, Bath, Bristol... so you're free to tag along, future roommate ! And... I do not know how to further characterize myself, so I'll just say that I'm a convinced Hufflepuff !

I would like to be able to invite friends or family over in the accomodation, so I hope it will not be problematic for me to have French friends or family sleep in my bedroom. I think that a living room or at least a large kitchen is quite important in a shared flat, but as I said, I can adapt !

I'm looking for a furnished accomodation, for I will not be able to bring furniture across the sea... It would be amazing if there already was a Wifi included as well ! And if it could not be over 450£, it would be perfect !
