What is it like to live in Sousse? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Sousse! The pearl of the coast,that's how we call it! If you have never been in sousse then you missed the most fabulous place in Tunisia. I live in sousse for about 22 years and everyday I discover that I am in love with the city and each corner of it.For me, Sousse is more than just a city, it is home and home is where the heart is. In sousse you forget about the the outer world, you are no longer a stanger. The walls, the doors, the people, the drops of rain, the sun, the beach, the smell of food, the alleys and everything is no strange, you will feel comfortable and at ease.

What is the student lifestyle like in Sousse?

I studied 3 years at the Faculty of Arts of Sousse, 3 years of real good times and good memories. I met wonderful people from different places and I befriended them though our differences.Life in sousse is easier, student whether local or foreign students can easily accommodate themselves to their entourage and manage their lives without any problems.

How much does it cost to live in Sousse?

Well,it doesn't cost a lot. It might cost around 3000€ per year

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Sousse? Is there any advice you can give?

Accommodation is easy to find especially near the f faculty. You can either share an apartment and rent a room or rent a small studio and it won't cost more than 150€.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

It is so delicious. We have a variety of dishes and my favourite is Couscous. The food here is tasty and full of spices. You will enjoy eating Kaftaji or Ojja and will definitely want to try them like everyday.

What places would you recommend visiting in Sousse?

There are many places to visit. You can visit The Medina or tHe Ribat or you can go to Hergla where you can enjoy the natural sights. You can go also to the beach, we have nice clean beaches when you can have a nice skin colour.

Is it good to eat out in Sousse? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yeah! Personally, I eat a lot outside the house. I usually go to restaurants like "Club 361 degree" or to the "First". I would advise you also to go and eat at "Belle vue", there you will enjoy eating food while watching the sun set and smelling the smell of the sand.

Is the nightlife good in Sousse? Where is good to go?

I enjoy goinf out at night! It is totally secure and there are no worries. You can go to 'Hardrock' and enjoy all the night dancing and drinking, you can also go to the 'Living', where they play nice music and you can enjoy the whole show.

What advice would you give future students heading to Sousse?

Don't hesitate to come to sousse. You will like it for sure and you won't regret it. Come to sousse this year, we are waiting for you .
