Why did you choose to go to Slagelse, Denmark?
Because I wanted to study in a small city.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
It takes 2 years. My parents have to send me approximately 400 Euros per month.
What is the student lifestyle like in Slagelse?
It is boring. Shops and bars are opened only during a weekend and friday. So if you do not have a friends with big flat, who are willing to invite you during the weekdays, you are bored.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Slagelse to other students?
I am not sure. School is not bad, but you can just study here. There are no parties and fun. So if you want to study all day, this is the best place for you.
What is the food like?
We have a kitchen here in school. Food is not bad, we can choose from several choices, but also you have to pay for it too.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Slagelse?
No, but it is hard.
How much does it cost to live in Slagelse?
Around 400 Euros per month. It very depends on how much will you pay for an accommodation.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
We can attend Danish language. And yes, i came here and my english was good lets say. But now it is better. Teachers accept mistakes and their english is on a high level.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Slagelse from your city?
It was by plane.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Slagelse?
Nattoget, The old irish pub.

Not really.

Yes, try to find an accommodation on your own, and start early.
