Why did you choose to go to Silkeborg, Denmark?

I chose to go to Silkeborg because I was willing to know the Danish education system and to get to know an Scandinavian country. Silkeborg looked like a cosy city, so I thought it was a good option.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I receive around 300 euros each month I spend here (4 months). It's not enough to pay for my accommodation, but it helps.

What is the student lifestyle like in Silkeborg?

It is the same as in other countries ad cities, people come to class, hang around...

Would you recommend the city and the University of Silkeborg to other students?

Yes, definitely. It's a nice city (even if it's quite small) and the university is a good one.

What is the food like?

The food is very good, specially Danish homemade food.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Silkeborg?

Yes it was quite difficult. I would recommend to ask for it in advance.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Danish is not an easy language and there are not language available courses in the university. I learnt some words, but it's impossible to learn it without language courses in 4 months.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Silkeborg from your city?

The both easiest and most economical way to travel is to go by plane to Aarhus and then take the bus to Silkeborg.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Silkeborg?

The centre of the town is full of bars and pubs, I would recommend to go there.
