Sibiu is a nice, calm city to live in. I recommend it.

What is the student lifestyle like in Sibiu?

There are activities organised at the university that students can participate in. Also there are a lot of festivals in the city centre, esp. in the summer.

How much does it cost to live in Sibiu?

A rent in Sibiu costs minimum 300€ per month. But, if you search more, maybe you can find something cheaper.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Sibiu? Is there any advice you can give?

There are a lot of Facebook groups where you can find different accommodations in Sibiu.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is ok. You will find romanian traditional food in almost every restaurant or cafe that you enter. My favorite dish is ciorba de pui sau de vita (it's chicken soup or beef soup).

What places would you recommend visiting in Sibiu?

I would recommend visiting the city centre, the zoo, and maybe the Astra Muzeum Complex, but only if you have time for this one.

Is it good to eat out in Sibiu? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

I have no favorite spots. However, there are some restaurants with live music.

What advice would you give future students heading to Sibiu?

Have a map. Speak some Romanian language, because few people know English.
