What is it like to live in Shkodër? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It is a small city in the north of albania surrounded by two rivers and one lake also velipoja beach 30 minutes (by car) away. Some part of the city's architecture is italinan style. Quite city with very friendly and polite people whose only purpose is to fave fun.

What is the student lifestyle like in Shkodër?

Student life is the same like everywhere and low prices in services and markets helps to have a better lifestyle.

How much does it cost to live in Shkodër?

500 euro per month i think is enough to live with a normal lifestyle

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Shkodër? Is there any advice you can give?

Finding accommodation is a little difficult but possible

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is delicious (currenty missing it) recomend the fish of the lake or the sea and the pie called BYREK every kind of them, you wont regret it. Bio food!

Is the nightlife good in Shkodër? Where is good to go?

"Sherlock" live music
"Bed station" hostel and coffee, they throw some lit parties.
"KULTURA" club
"Astoria" club
Some times in thecenter there are also organised road parties ore concerts
If you go by September there is organized the beer fest.

What advice would you give future students heading to Shkodër?

If you want to escape from the noisy and crowdy lifestyle go in Shkoder.
Just fave fun, don't worry about money it is almost free.
