When it’s so hot and stuffy outside, and your best friend is air-conditioner, it’s time to pack your stuff and go to the beach, or at least to the aqua park. There are plenty of water parks in South Korea and one of the most famous is Ocean World.

How to get to Ocean world? From Seoul, you can take a free shuttle bus and it will take about 2 hours to arrive at the park. There are a few bus stops where you can take a shuttle bus, just check the nearest one and book your seat in advance online.

How much is an admission? The normal price is about 77.000 Korean won or 70USD$. But there are some discounts. You can get a 50% of discount if you register on Ocean World webpage, or if pay for your ticket by BC credit/debit card etc. Also, there discounts to students, teenagers etc.

The park itself is divided into 2 parts: indoor and outdoor. We spent a whole day outside. It was really crowded and we had to wait in lines for about 30-60mins. Sometimes, even about 2 hours. Yeah, 2 hours in queue and then just 1 min or even less riding the attraction.

There are a lot of different cafeterias and snack bars in the park. But the most of them don’t accept cards or cash. We were able to pay by card only in Burger King and Starbucks. So, how do you pay then? You should get a special bracelet at the entrance and charge it on the amount of money you want. The unused money will be refunded back.

There are water pools, spa and leisure places as well. (You need to get a life-jacket to enter a pool. Although, the pool itself is not deep at all… LoL. And life-jacket rent fee is about 10 USD$)

Well, in the evening we took shuttle bus again and came back to Seoul :)

P.S.: Personally, I didn’t like that park so much. It was smaller than Carribean Bay and wasn’t so comfy.
