Jungle Park Bolera

The perfect place to have a pleasant and enjoyable time with either friends or family is a meeting point for people of all ages. You can see groups of friends enjoying their evening, whole families competing and everyone in the same place. Jungle Park Bowling doesn’t just offer bowling but also pool tables, bumper cars, machine games and even a ball pit for the young children.

Bowling

It is the main and most popular activity of Jungle Park thanks to its twelve bowling alleys, lights that give it an atmosphere, large screens and varied music. The service is open every day on weekdays, weekends and holidays. The schedules and prices change according to the date and time you go to the place. The price is around 90, 000 Colombian pesos ((COP) about £23) per hour and 50, 000 Colombian pesos (about £13) per half hour, not including the shoe service. The shoe service is always 4, 000 Colombian pesos (about £1).

From Monday to Wednesday they open their doors from midday to ten o’clock at night, but it is from midday to five o’clock in the afternoon that the alley costs 10, 500 COP (about £3) and after five o’clock in the afternoon it costs 13, 800 COP (about £4). On Thursdays, you have the same prices before and after five o’clock in the afternoon and only on this day are the services open until midnight.

On Fridays they open at 2 p. m. and close at 2 a. m. Before 5 p. m. the alley costs 12, 500 COP (between £3 and £4) and after 5 p. m. it costs 16, 500 COP (between £4 and £5). On Saturdays they’re open from 11 a. m. until 2 a. m. the following morning. On Sundays and holidays, they’re open from 11 a. m. until 11 p. m. and on these days it costs 16, 500 COP regardless of the time.

Machines

The little machines are perfect for while you wait for a bowling alley. The place is too crowded and, although it has several bowling alleys, there are many people who have the same plan to go and play with their friends and family for a while. Sometimes it can take between an hour and an hour and a half to be assigned the alley so you can go bowling. But don't worry, Jungle Park has a lot to offer to make sure you stay entertained whilst you wait.

There are machine games for both children and adults, you have to buy and top up a card to be able to play, the cost of this card being 3, 000 to 4, 000 Colombian pesos (around £1). The game that I like the most is the The Walking Dead one, which is very good, although it is only for adults, but they do have various other very good games for young children that made even me want to play them.

The bumper cars are for everyone and they cost around 7, 000 COP (under £2 or so). The machines each cost between 2, 000 and 4, 000 COP (between 50p and £1).

Bar-Restaurant

It is a stupendous bar that sells everything from beer to cocktails. I have to say that they have an excellent cocktail service and they serve various drinks. You can also ask to have all kinds of drinks brought to the alley you’re playing at, so you don’t have to miss a moment of fun.

It is not necessary for you to go to the main food court or to any of the restaurants in the mall to enjoy a good meal. They offer a wide variety of dishes, they have good nachos and exquisite meat empanadas (empanadas being a type of baked or fried pasty, popular in Latin America).

It is a very comfortable and pleasant place to look at. You can eat there, play there and enjoy a nice drink whilst everything is open for you to have a good time at the central attraction at the Jungle Park. The bowling alley in the Cafam Floresta shopping centre for those interested in spending a calm but fun-filled afternoon or evening there.
