In Dale, which is placed in Sandnes, a mountain/fjord is located, called Lifjellet. Sandnes is reachable by bus from Stavanger. Here, a beautiful, magnificent, hike can be completed, but it is for the real daredevils and the trained hikers. The hike goes through forest, over beaches, mountains, crossing waterfalls, and even over steep steep stone plates. At some points, stairs and rope has been places, to prevent falling and to make the hike "easier and more doable". This hike is considered as a red route, which is the 3rd hardest classification of the 4 classifications for routes given by the Norwegian hiking assisociation. Therefore, good hiking shoes and a basic condition is needed. We were suprised by how steep some parts were, even fell a few times, which could have ended in a very bad way. It took us 6 hours to complete the 10km hike. But when you reach the top it is so worth it! We conquered weather, like thunder and rain, but also muddy paths and steep slippery slopes. The summit is placed at 282moh. A trail for the real daredevils with good hiking shoes, pack enough food and water!
