Food is one of the most interesting part of Uzbek Culture. At the moment I am in Europe and I really miss Uzbek national dishes. But I suppose that most people know about famous Samarkand BREAD and uzbek national PLOV and Lagman!!!

The city is amazing for itself with historical sites and very modern roads. So, I cannot suggest one particular place to visit. Just go and enjoy in Samarkand and if you have free time do not forget about going to other parts of Uzbekistan such as Tashkent. It is also wonderful City and you will really enjoy there. Most of the inhabitants of Uzbekistan can communicate in Russian and English. So you will not feel difficulty in Uzbekistan while travelling and studying.
