Ružomberok isn't expensive. Usually you pay for one lunch just 4€. Monthly rent is between 250€-350€ or less when you live in dormitory.

There are many student dormitory in Ružomberok, but if you want live in flat so you should find flat in Klačno or Baničné, which is near to Ružomberok.

Typical and best meal is bryndzové halušky.

What places would you recommend visiting in Ružomberok?

You should visit Andrej Hlinka square with beautiful view on Ružomberok. In Malino Brdo is skipark and bikepark. Than i recommend you Italian restaurant in centre.

Typical slovak restaurant is 5 km from Ružomberok and it's called Bodega. I recommend Vlkolinec,which is a village under the administration of the town of Ružomberok.Vlkolínec has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1993, and is one of ten Slovak villages that have been given the status of a folk architecture reservations. In summer you should visit Liptovská mara or Bešenová. Then very interestand place is Contact zoo in Liptovský Mikuláš, where you can touch all animal like lion, ostrich or kangaroo.

Is the nightlife good in Ružomberok? Where is good to go?

i know Oko bar and Caracas bar, which are student party places.
