Pedra da Gávea, situated in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is a rocky mountain about 1000 meters high, on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean. Situated in the southern region of Rio de Janeiro, the hike up the mountain takes about two and a half hours of difficult walking in which you are required to climb and use all four extremities to be able to move forward.
After walking the entire way from the bottom, you begin to enjoy the incredible panoramic views, unmatched to other places in the city; the end maybe is the best, a panoramic view of the whole of Rio, just being there, sitting down and enjoying the amazing view from the top of Pedra da Gávea. I recommend it, you will not be disappointed!
