I'm a Brazilian-American with a 2 room apartment in Bonsucesso (northern zone of Rio de Janeiro) with an available room with a large veranda. Emenities include: internet, washer machine, fully equipped kitchen, a 2-in-1 twin bed or queen available. 

Really near UFRJ and easy access to UERJ and other universities. 25 minute bus ride from the international airport (GIG). Easy transport to tourist areas, downtown, shoppping malls, Niteroi and local beach regions such Barra da Tijuca and Recreio. Near a BRT bus station, many "regular" bus stations, a train station and 2 major highways. 

Walking distance from grocery stores, bakeries, restaurants, department stores, smaller commerce and a hospital.
