Older student seeks studio apartment

I am an older Canadian/American, resident in Italy. I will be studying Greek at the University of Crete in Rethymno in September thru December of 2020.  I would prefer very simple accommodation (studio apartment or room with private facilities) preferably in the area of Gallos or hills above Rethymno.
