hello!! I'll be there on September 1st till February 28, I'd like to know if I can tell to the counsil I'll be there before but I arrive later?

They are asking me for an exact date, but I've not booked a flight ticket yet :P

I'm Italian and I'll spend 6 months here by Continental doing my master thesis...If is there someone who is looking for an accomodation, maybe I can offer a room..
