Disappointing Master’s Experience with Poor Support
I completed the Master’s in Digtal Marketing with very mixed feelings. The academic level was low, exams were easy, and many students openly used ChatGPT—I didn’t, because I wanted to learn, not cheat. Attendance and effort didn’t matter, and it often felt like you just pay and get the degree. One student even said an admissions officer told him: “If you want to study, this is not the school for you, but you will have time to explore.”
The capstone was the worst part. I became team leader because no one else would, and only one colleague and I were serious. The mentor was arrogant, disrespectful, harsher on us than the rest, and blamed me entirely for the failure, saying I’m not a good leader. He never apologized.
Administration was chaotic, with three coordinators and a very late, unprofessional email address (.com, not .edu). The school is also not recognized in Italy, so student benefits like transport discounts are unavailable.
Some classes were enjoyable, but others were embarrassing, like a professor using AI to answer questions in real time. Overall, this master’s added little to my career. I paid for a weak academic experience and mistreatment. It was a life lesson, but I wouldn’t repeat it. Future students should read reviews carefully before applying.
