What interested me about the city of Rauma was the fact that the city was always calm, and this is a city where the inhabitants display a lot of hospitality. It's a city where I really wanted and I hoped to live in. It's a rich city, there is the port, and lakes with delicious fish.

How is the student ambiance in Rauma?

Concerning the student atmosphere in Rauma, I heard that students, both citizens and foreigners, are treated equally well. In fact, I didn't visit the student domain because I was only there for a job.

What is the cost of living in Rauma?

The cost of living is really less expensive. It's a city where you can find good food at an affordable price. Electricity and water are much cheaper. Employees are well paid. Housing is also priced affordably.

Is it difficult to find housing in Rauma? Do you have advice to give?

Concerning housing, I do not have a lot of information, but from what I've heard, there are lots of companies that are responsible for guiding people looking for housing. I would advise people looking for housing not to search individually but through a company with more information.

What is the food like in the city? What are your favorite plates?

I found the city to have diverse cuisine. You can eat what you want. My favorite plates are ones that give me energy. Meat, fish from the lake or ocean, vegetables...

What places do you recommend to see in Rauma?

I would visit the natural parks, the ocean, the port, the factories and industrial parks, the lakes...

My favorite places to eat are the kinds of places that are calm, for families, restaurants...
