Erasmus Experience in Radom, Poland by Doğan
Why did you choose to go to Radom, Poland?
I chose Radom because my university only has an agreement with the Radom Academy of Economics in what I'm studying.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
I received about 300€ a month from my university. It's enough to get by in Radom, but just for living. When you get to some places in Poland it doesn't make you happy as it may not be enough.
What is the student lifestyle like in Radom?
There are three main clubs that I know in radom. Lemon, Archiwum and I can't remember the last one :D
Would you recommend the city and the University of Radom to other students?
Obviously I do, it's a cheap city, you can save money, but on the other hand if you want to go other European countries you will have to go to Warsaw or any other big city like Krakow. The location of Radom isn't the best if you want to travel.
What is the food like?
I haven't tried typical dishes.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Radom?
I was in a dormitory that was like an abandoned hospital on Krasickiego 54 Borki and spent 100€ a month. I heard that it's not permitted to rent a house to foreign students.
