What is it like to live in Rabat? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Rabat the capital of Gozo, an island in the Maltese archipelago. It is a very beautiful city filled with culture and local heritage. The famous Citadel is also found within its city center. In summer there are local feasts and celebrations. The 15th of August is Saint Mary's feast where people across both islands celebrate with beautiful pyrotechnics and local band music. Moreover, during October, you can attend to an opera at the Aurora Opera house

What is the student lifestyle like in Rabat?

Since it is centralised, all amenities are rather easily available.

How much does it cost to live in Rabat?

It is not that expensive to live in.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Rabat? Is there any advice you can give?

There are accommodations available in Victoria/Rabat

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

There are a lot of restaurants and bars spread across the main road of rabat, and the food is delicious. I don't particularly have a favourite food choice, but I do like a good steak.

What places would you recommend visiting in Rabat?

The Citadel, The Gozo Cathedral, tal- Ħaġar Museum, the Aurora Opera House, various churches and monasterie.

Is it good to eat out in Rabat? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Its a great spot to find delicious food. The best places have to be either at "It-tokk" square and the main road "Triq ir-Repubblika.

Is the nightlife good in Rabat? Where is good to go?

In Rabat, the night life is average. However, the best place to go is probably Xlendi, outside of rabat at a club house called La Grotta.

What advice would you give future students heading to Rabat?

Rabat is a beautiful city and it is a great place to study. I highly recommend it to other students, however I strongly suggest to explore the whole of the island.
