This is a 1 year contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Administering compensation and benefit plans
  • Conducting employee onboarding and help plan training & development
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
  • Managing benefits, payroll and onboarding new employees
  • Calculating employees’ compensation, updating our internal payroll databases
  • Undertake tasks around performance management
  • Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state and federal regulations
  • Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a BSc/BA in Business Administration or a related field
  • Some experience or coursework related to HR (e.g., internships, projects) is preferred; additional HR training or certifications will be a plus
  • Basic understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Familiarity with employment/labor laws is advantageous
  • Fluency in Czech and English language is mandatory
  •  Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to solve problems effectively
  • Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team with a results-driven approach
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in German (spoken and written) is preferred
  • Must be able to provide a Criminal record extract not older than three months
