Board Game Cafe needs a team of Baristas and Servers

Bohemia Boards & Brews, Prague’s first board game café, is looking to put together a team of bright, friendly, baristas and servers who will help us in our quest to successfully bring the Board Game Café concept to Prague.

 A board game café is a ‘typical’ kavarna with a big difference. In addition to refreshing drinks, great food, and a bright, friendly atmosphere –the Board Game Café also boasts a large library of modern hobby boardgames, which customers have complete access to for a small cover charge. 

The first board game café was opened in Toronto, Canada, in 2011. Since then, these cafes have become immensely popular in Canada, the US, the UK, and now across Europe –with new ones popping up almost weekly.

A key part of the success of this concept is a friendly, knowledgeable staff who really make customers feel welcome and satisfied.  If you fit the following profile, you may be exactly who we are looking for:

1. You have a Friendly, communicative personality
2. You speak Czech and your English skills aren’t bad either
3. You have a natural enthusiasm for everything you do
4. You have a great sense of responsibility
5. You love board games –or at least play them occasionally (not required)
6. You have some experience as a barista or server  (not required)

As part of the BB&B server staff, your role will be:

1. Waiting tables
2. Drinks preparation (coffee drinks, cocktails, limonades)
3. Some small food preparation
4. Recommending games and answering questions
