32 year old, art student looking for a calm place in Prague

Hi I’m Julien, 

I’m an art student and electronic music producer currently studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden. I will be doing an exchange semester starting 1st of October until 31st of January at AVU and am very much looking forward to it. 

Whenever I have the time I like starting my day listening to ambient or chill electronica in the mornings, drinking black or green tea, doing a workout and enjoying a nice breakfast. During the day I work on my art or music projects - preparing installations or planning electronic music events. I love a good Sci Fi series (for example Severance, Foundation, Silo … ). I also like to cook - and my current flat mates would say I’m a great cook. I also like making pancakes (French, American or Hungarian style) on weekends ;) .

One important thing to mention is that I'm fairly sensitive to some very loud noises - like sudden shouting or loud repetitive bass through the walls. To feel comfortable I need to know I have calm place to get away from all the hustle and bustle of the city if I need to. 

This means that I of course am very considerate towards my flat mates in terms of how much noise I make, but also in keeping the shared spaces clean. This means I clean up everything after I cook and eat and I do my part when it’s my turn on the cleaning schedule. 

At home I would say I’m pretty easy to get along with. If something isn’t working out I am always open to talk it out and find a solution together. I’ve lived in various shared flats for many years now, so I see solving any issues that might come up while living together as a normal part of sharing a flat together.
