Hey!
My names Brendan and I'm a second year college student from Ireland studying Economics, Politics and Law in DCU. Myself and another guy from my course are heading out to Prague in September to study at Charles University for a year. Just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone else is heading out to study in Charles.

Hello! My name is Aaron. I study art's history in Canary Islands. A friend and I are going to Charles University next year. I hope meet people (Spanish and not Spanish)... See you there for drink some beers! Hahaha!

Just signed up, going to Charles University to study Law for a year coming from University of Kent in Canterbury, by the looks of things its going to get pretty messy with regards to drinking habits :P But a big hello to anyone going out there! :D

Yeah you know, the Czech Republic has the highest number of beer consumption per capita in the world, we will have to integrate ourselves into this new culture :P

Looking forward to it ;) so do you know why there are so many Spaniards that go to Prague on Erasmus? It looks like i'm going to have to brush up on my spanish lol

Nah I think its just because Erasmusu is a Spanish website, but they are trying to do it more international. I'm sure there will be a lot of people from different places there :D
I don't want to go to a foreign country to end up speaking Spanish again all the time -_-

Yeah I noticed all the Spanish when I signed up... sounds like there'll be a lot going to Prague. I can't get over how cheap its gonna be to live there, cost of living is so low it's going to be great. Is everyone going to live on campus? The only downside with campus is no single rooms, but I guess it won't be too much of an issue.

I hope living in a flat... I don't like so much Hostivar...
Yes, we're a lot of Spanish people... Maybe, you learn Spanish while you're drinking beers... hahaha

Well I have read several times that the best thing to do there is first going to the residence to meet people and then finding a flat with some other people.
I think that Hostivar can be a funny and challenging experience haha

thnx anais...and one thing more to ask: how do you rent a room?? anyone knows how much they cost ?do they have private or public bathrooms??? :)

Anais....english isn't even your second language?? How can every european speak several languages apart from the British and Irish? I have school french, and I'm not even fluent in Irish (which is supposed to be our national language). Oh well, I guess i'll be giving Czech a go, i hope its easy
