Looking for a one-room apartment/single room in a shared space for two people.

I'm joining a university in Potsdam beginning this October and am looking to move into a one-room apartment or a single private room in a shared space. We are two people (one of us is a student) looking to find a place that is preferably close to University of Applied Sciences in Potsdam. We are looking to move into a one room apartment that has basic furnishing in place and our budget is not more than 500 Euro. We are looking to stay for a longer period of time, until my course is over in 2019.
