Why did you choose to go to Potsdam, Germany?

You could say that Potsdam chose me. :)

How long did your scholarship last? How much were you paid?

Four months, it was for part of my PhD.

What´s the student life like in Potsdam?

Very good, it´s very safe here and for working or travelling, it´s an ideal city.

Would you recommend the city and University of Potsdam to other students?

Yes, although you can´t compare it to the atmosphere of Berlin.

Did you find it hard to find somewhere to live in Potsdam?

Yes, the truth is that I did find it quite hard.

How expensive is everyday life in Potsdam?

I´m living in student halls of residence with my own kitchen and bathroom, and I pay 330 euros a month. I found my accommodation through the website Studentenwerk.

What´s the cheapest way of getting to Potsdam from your home city?

By plane.

Do you have any advice for future students coming to Potsdam?

It´s very cold and windy in the wintertime, but from spring onwards it´s beautiful. There´s lots of nature and lakes surrounding Potsdam.
