What is the student lifestyle in Portstewart like?
A lot of students from the University of Ulster Coleraine live in student houses in the Lissadell area of Portstewart. As a result, it's quite easy to visit friends, etc.
Is the nightlife in Portstewart good? Where is good to go?
There are several bars in Portstewart, but the ones most students go to are either The Anchor Bar Complex or Havana/Shenanigans.
The Anchor hosts student nights on Tuesdays, at their upstairs in Club Aura, while downstairs karaoke takes place. The club is also busy on Thursday nights, and there is traditional Irish music in the main bar.
