25 year old Irish male, looking for accommodation in Porto English speaking

Hello there.

I am looking for accommodation with people who also speak English as my Portuguese is minimal at present. Basically anywhere I'm looking people do not speak much English which could be very difficult. I'm a smart, outgoing, witty kind of person who enjoys travelling, the thrill of exploring new places and cultures. I'm pretty laid back and would talk to the wall if it talked back! My hobbies include reading, sports (mainly hurling, rugby - spectate, soccer), photography and very recently yoga.

I'm planning on staying in Porto for 6 months and learn Portuguese to a degree. 

The accomodation I am looking for is not secondary to the people. I would rather live with people I really click with over a fancy apartment, with that being said though I would want somewhere where I have my own room, pretty central, the possbility to have overnight house guests, internet and a reasonable cooking area.
