What is it like to live in Pitesti? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

The life in Pitesti is interesting! I would definitely recommend it because you can do a lot of things here.

What is the student lifestyle like in Pitesti?

It depends on the number of classes you have. There are many pubs and restaurants where you can eat well, drink something good and interact with people. Starting Fridays, there are parties all over the weekend, so you mustn't miss these 3 days!

How much does it cost to live in Pitesti?

I think with 300-400 euros you will be just fine. With that you can pay your rent (if you don't live in the campus), eat out and experience nightlife. Of course, if you cook by yourself and don't eat out all the time, you will save a lot.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Pitesti? Is there any advice you can give?

My advice is to look on websites like this one, or to ask for details from the university you will apply.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Romanian food is absolutely delicious! You must try everything because everything is so good! My favourite dish is a traditional Romanian dish called "Sarmale", a meatball covered with cabbage. You can also try "Papanasi", a traditional dessert.

What places would you recommend visiting in Pitesti?

Definitely downtown!

Is it good to eat out in Pitesti? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

My favourite places to eat out are Guinness Pub, Pizzeria Pavone and Club32.

Is the nightlife good in Pitesti? Where is good to go?

Very good, there are a lot of funny and nice people, and also attractive!

You can try V. I. P Room, Mansion Pub and Eden Pub.

What advice would you give future students heading to Pitesti?

To act natural. It will be a new environment for you, but here there are good people who can help you with everything, if you just know how to ask for help. Also, be careful in which semestre you are coming, because the weather in winter is very, very cold.
