Mature student looking for accommodation while on 6-month exchange in Pisa

I will be spending 6 months in Pisa as a part of completing my PhD from McMaster University in Canada. I am really looking forward to experiencing the Italian culture and learning as much about it as I can (including the language and hopefully travelling a bit). I am very mature, tidy, quiet, and also very friendly! I appreciate alone time (and respect others' alone time) very much, but I also love to meet and get to know new people in social settings.
