What is it like to live in Piestany? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Piestany is one of the most peaceful places I have ever been, full of green parks and romantic views. You never get bored with walks through the city and nice places and all the time you can meet someone, because it is quite small town. Piestany is also city for sports, you can choose from variety of them, it is just up to you if you choose rowing, yachting, konoe-ing, roller blading, cycling, running, ice-hockey, squash, swimming...

What is the student lifestyle like in Piestany?

Generally, the main thing is to find nice people, with who you can spend your time and do all crazy activities you are able to do. The only thing is just to be talkative to other students, mostly they are opend-minded, so do not worry and enjoy your time.

How much does it cost to live in Piestany?

The rent of flat is quite cheap,it is not that much as in the capital city, so I guess for everyone is convenient to rent a flat with more students.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Piestany? Is there any advice you can give?

There is variety of places where to go eat. You need just to choose your taste. Generally, restaurants offer european meals mostly consist of meat, side-dishes, salads..I highly recommend to try soups which are really tasty.

What places would you recommend visiting in Piestany?

Except the city center you need to see spa-island, you need just to go through glass-bridge to get to the other shore. Then is nice to take a walk around golf-area, take a bicycle/roller blades and go around water dam-Slnava. You can hike/cycle to Havran (there is really nice forest).

Is the nightlife good in Piestany? Where is good to go?

There are several places where to go, it depends if you prefer for calm evening- then I recommend visit- Kursalon, if you prefer jazz music and lot of nice places where to go just to sit, Paula-hotel with sky-bar, really nice view on the river...or club-Coolturak, Sauna(in winter season)
