Tutor Manager Hero

We are an exciting, (fairly) new French startup, based in Paris, passionate in providing English-learners with an easy and affordable way to practice and improve their English skills 24/7 using our smartphone application.

We have launched the app on the Apple Store and it's now available on Android on the Play Store as well. Our tutors have started teaching and many students (whom we call Speakers) are signing up daily!

We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused intern to manage our community of tutors as well as lead new recruitment pushes. As the Tutor Manager you would be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

• Managing and analysing ad campaigns to recruit new online English tutors on social media, job boards and through email

• Defining overall supply marketing strategy by studying the market and deciding on the budget and plan

• Defining onboarding, training and quality services for tutors

• Conducting interviews and selecting those most suitable for the role in question (we now use a site which applicants pre-record their interviews on)

• Engaging tutor and learner community with daily content and email updates

• Helping translate material from French to English

Profile searched for:

• Student (able to provide university internship agreement) studying business, media/communication, English, French (or related) degree available ASAP

• Native/bilingual English (neutral accent)

• Great communication skills (written and verbal) and detail-orientated

• Previous experience in customer facing roles

• Good level of French preferable

• Self-starter, full of ideas to improve existing practices

• Knowledge of Google Docs
