Editorial Internship on English-language Website

AlloCiné is the leading European provider of cinema information and e-commerce services. Founded in 1993 in France, AlloCine is based in Paris and is very well-known by French cinema lovers. As well as being the base of an international team of marketing and editorial staff who direct or oversee the activities of independent sites in Berlin (filmstarts.de), Spain (sensacine.es), Canada (allocine.ca), Russia (kinopoisk.ru), Turkey (beyazperde.com) and China (mtime.com), the Paris office is also home to screenrush.co.uk, AlloCiné’s English language site which is currently seeking two editorial interns.

The successful applicant will be an English-mother-tongue student spending time in Paris as part of an academic programme. S/he will also be a passionate and knowledgeable expert on all things cinema and TV with an interest in pursuing a career in journalism.

WE WILL ONLY CONSIDER APPLICANTS REGISTERED AS FULL-TIME STUDENTS AND ABLE TO PROVIDE A 'CONVENTION DE STAGE' FROM THEIR UNIVERSITY

Among day-to-day tasks of seeking out and writing news stories, researching features, translation (French-English and English-French) and database administration, there will also be opportunities to interview or assist in interviewing cast and crew from the entertainment world as they pursue their publicity duties on recent/upcoming releases.

Pay: 720€/month (gross) + ½ Pass Navigo+ lunch tickets (9€ each) for each full day worked
